Finally an update....

Sean and I had our 10 year anniversary on May 10th. He took me to the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Resort. For dinner we went to Houston's. This pic is when before dinner. We really had a great time. Our original wedding bands were yellow gold, so he got me a new white gold ring and I got him one too. He surprised me with round diamond earrings that match my ring setting. So pretty! Thanks babe for a great 10 years. You spoil me so rotten. Have I told you how much I love you lately? I DO LOVE YOU MUCH....and will for many years to come.
This is Ben before I totally ruined his beautiful golden locks. Daddy has been saying he needs a haircut. I didn't want him to go to the barber and come back with NO hair, so I decided to do a little trim by myself. WHATEVER! I took way to much off and now my baby is a big boy! UGH!
Still with cute curls...

Now curls not on head, but counter top....
NO CURLS!!! What on this freakin' earth was I thinking!?* Note to self -never listen to a man when he tells you the baby needs a haircut, which then makes them a little boy.

Okay, I'm over the haircut. Now let's play in the sink.

My baby girl on her last day of school. I really can't believe she is 7 and going into the 2nd grade. Another UGH.
And my baby boy on his last day. Now 8 and going into the 3rd grade. Yet another UGH, UGH.
No words...toooo big....
Mommy dearest, we like to call her. Even telling her brother how to pose.

Okay if she had the money she might actually blow this up into a life size portrait. She loved her teacher. This was also Hudson's 1st grade teacher. He moved back to Chicago on the last day of school. We were sad that Tyger won't have him one day. He really was great with the kids. THANK YOU MR. M FOR TEACHING OUR KIDS! HOPE YOUR MOVE WAS SMOOTH.

Hudson's class walked to the park for their end of year party. They had a waterslide and BBQ. There's my Huddy Buddy going down the slide.

GIRLS GONE SILLY....AND THEN SOME....

For Lainey's birthday, which was Sunday, she wanted to go to a place called Club Libby Lu. It's quite the place for little girls. They do their make-up, hair, nails, and they make their own special soap and get a backpack full of "girly goodies". They picked from a book their own hairstyle, which came with the whole Jackie O look. The girls ate it up, as you can see below. We were in Scottsdale on Friday night and it was a last minute thing that we decided to do, so I didn't bring my camera to Libby Lu. So these pics are of them after we got home about 10:30pm and they were in extra silly mode. They walked out of that mall with pure "Diva" attitude. UUGH! YIKES! Once the make-up came off and hair came down they were back to themselves and reality. Thank goodness!

My favorite pic above.

oops, didn't turn this one. how about the back? crazy!

Behind and Catching Up....

First of all my baby boy turned 8 years old on April 21st. We had a fun little party and BBQ at the house. We basically have "built in" party goers, since we have so many cousins! He did invite one friend. We had a great time. Thanks for coming and for all the gifts. Opening presents....
Thanks Hud for being so gracious when mommy accidentally got you a pink scooter! Sorry. I actually was looking for a black one, so I opened 4 boxes and they were all red. So, I thought, I guess he's going to get red. But, I didn't want a box I had already opened, so I grabbed the next one. Well when he opened it, it was pink! Yes, I am STILL an idiot! I found a blue one the next day.
Couldn't get the crew to pose for a pic. The babies were not having it.
My Cute Baby Boy
The boys were glued to the video games...but what cracks me up is Ty totally jammin' out on Hud's guitar.
Grandma got Hud an iPod for his B-day, but wait until you see what she got Lainey. There is a bunch of Jealousy going on around here.....grandma's spoil!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BOY. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
In other news, my cousin Melissa got married on April 27th. The wedding was amazing and Melissa was such a beautiful, gorgeous bride. Congrats Mel and Ryan! Hope you had a great time in Cancun.

REMEMBERING YOU.....

May 4.......Three years ago today my dad gave new meaning to the phrase "died and gone to heaven". I can just see his grin on his face as his Savior told him "well done, good and faithful servant". He was looking forward to the day when he would hear that and I just bet he did. Dad was such an amazing man of God and I know that he did Him proud.

Dad,

I can't believe it's been 3 years since I saw your face. Alot has changed since you left us. Your little Huddy Buddy turned eight a couple of weeks ago. He turned 5 the day you went into the hospital. It's hard to believe you've missed that much. He still remembers you like you were here yesterday and often tells stories of things that you two did together. He can get me emotional so easily when talking about you, because I remember the special relationship you had with him. You were such an awesome Papa. Lainey Girl is a "mini me", attitude and all. She is turning 7 on Sunday. You would get a kick out of seeing how much she is like me. She is my little helper. You could have had her clean your office for you! Oh and Tyger Ty. He was just a baby when you saw him last. What a handsome little 4 year old he is. He has this hilarious little "tough guy" way about him. We taught him how to ride his bike without training wheels last year, just like you did with Lainey and Hud on that little grass hill across the street. He had it down in 5 minutes. I remember when you were in the hospital, I said that I would never have another kid, because you wouldn't ever see them. Well, meet Benjamin Ronald Perry. He has the middle name of my first love. Of course, you would have been at the hospital my entire labor, just like the other 3. I missed that, but mom was there. Can you believe I let her stay in the room during delivery? I think she really enjoyed that. He is such a joy to us. He has curly hair. No, I don't know where he got it, because I'm still married to Sean! By the way, you would be so proud of Sean. I know you were already, but he has done so well over the past couple of years and I wish you were here to see his achievements. For him, losing you was like losing the dad he never had. I know he misses you alot. Well, this has become longer than my usual short little corney poem. Shortly after you died, the kids kept asking if you took your cell phone so we could just call you. I sure wish you took it. What were you thinking! There's so much more I could tell you, but I guess it will wait. I love you- R (your favorite daughter, oh wait, your only daughter)

To my family, friends and anyone else that may read this:
1. No, I am not crazy to think my dad actually reads this.
2. I'm just jotting a few things I'd like to say
3. I am healing, believe it or not!
4. It's 1am, so now it's May 5th. Happy Cinco de Mayo! What am I doing awake?
5. I have a crying HEADACHE and swollen eyes!

Fun Pics.....

I just got some new fun picture software and have been trying it out on some old photos. Here are a few..... Ben and Ryland having a stare down over Easter eggs. Ben is starting to look like Curly from the 3 stooges.
Pretty pretty princess....
I think I may have already posted the last 2 with the Hawaii pics, but they are so neat with the color and b & w...
Jadey Girl. You can barely tell, but her bows are pink.

HAPPY EASTER....

In our family it's tradition to have Easter egg hunt at our house in the morning. Then we get ready for church and go. After church we go over to Aunt Carole and Uncle Jer's house where we all meet for an afternoon of more egg hunts and good food and just pure family fun!
Thanks everyone for the good times! Aunt Barb hid Hudson's egg in her pant leg. SNEAKY

This boiled egg sure is good...shell and all.
The clan of cousins....and we had 13 missing, I think....correct me if I'm wrong (including spouses and babies).
Crazy bunch.
Aunt Jenifer, Me, and Paige
Uncle Jer and Benj
Mel and clingy, I mean Lainey
Groom and Bride-to-be, nice Itty Bitty Nazarene bib Ryan.
Jonathan and Ryland...
Thanks daddy for helping me get the egg on top of the wall...

My babies before church...
and them again....Ben NEVER cooperates....
again....

Tyger, Jaden & Lainey

Woodpecker pecking at 6am Easter morning...
Funny story- This woodpecker kept pecking the lightpost everytime we would look away. Hudson kept waiting to see him do it, but could never catch him in the act. After so long he kept saying, stupid Pecker, that dumb Pecker over and over. Sean and I were busting up! Sorry if I offended anyone
Thank you Lainey for giving me an egg.
Let's just see what the Easter Bunny put in here...
Oh CHOCOLATE- I think I LIKE, but the foil it was wrapped in doesn't taste so good...
Nothing better than your kids out in the yard, bright and early Easter morning, hunting Easter eggs in daddy's big ole T-shirts. LOVE IT!
