Random pics and last day of school...

A couple known facts about Ben.
*he only wears underwear about 98% of the time
*they are always on backwards and usually inside out
*he has cute butt cheeks
Lain at school with best bud, Idalis and Ben.

Hudson with his end of year pic by the tree. I took his stitches out on Sunday. He healed like a trooper and has a nice scar to show...and oh yeah, I got new knobs.

Ty got the Friendship award for always being friends with everyone and never leaving anyone out. Nice job Tyger! I'm proud of you.

He just finished a season a b-ball and did awesome. He was so happy to get his first trophy.

Congratulations to my babies "moving up" to a new grade! Today was their last day of school. I'm ready for summer fun, not so much summer heat. We celebrated their day by going to see Night At The Museum. Sean celebrated by leaving to go to cool San Diego for a few days and get some fishing done. I now have a 5th, 4th and 2nd grader. Ugh...I can't believe they are that big already. Sniff:(

YES... I literally woke up....

[THE CULPRIT]
from a dead sleep to Sean saying, in a very soft, wake you up, mellow voice "Rhonda, you're going to have to get up. Hudson needs to go to the hospital and I have a meeting to go to." Well I am the crazy, POP out of bed kind of waker upper. "What, what is going on?" He tells me Hud cut his leg and is bleeding everywhere and when I get to the living room 1.1 second later, my poor baby is sitting on the couch, pastey white and is nauseous. Sean gets him a trash can, he throws up. Lainey stumbles out of bed (this is 6:50am might I add), sees all the blood and Hud vomiting. Well, she'll never be my Doctor of the family, because just seeing that sends her to the toilet to vomit. Now, she is pastey white. Sean leaves for the meeting, takes Ty to school, I call gram to watch Ben & sympathy sick Lainey and we hit the Urgent Care. Whew!

6 stitches and a pair of crutches later, Humpty Dumpty is put back together again.

Sean had an early morning meeting. The kids and I usually get up at about 7:00 to get ready for school. Apparently Hudson heard Sean up and decided to get up early and get ready before we all got up. He went to the laundry room and picked up a basket of clean clothes (YES, he did have clothes in his drawer, just not what he wanted...I DO LAUNDRY!). Well he was walking and bumped into this buffet that has, strike that, HAD crystal knobs on it and totally just ripped his poor little unsuspecting knee across the knob, it broke off and left this huge shard of glass that sliced the dickens out of his knee! The good news....Hudson's knee is great. The bad news...I just repainted that buffet and added the crystal knobs that I bought a couple years ago at a close-out. OH, FOR THE LOVE OF CRYSTAL KNOBS, THAT MAKE EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE LOOK FANTASTIC. I'll miss you knob, but I'm glad you're okay Hud:)

Well, I think I've made this post as dramatic as humanly possible...

here are the yummy pics....

Lainey Jean turns NINE...

Her first day of kinder...
I had a bunch of old pics scanned into my computer, because Lain just had a timeline of her life due at school. So these are just some old pic we put in her timeline. I haven't done this for the other kids on my blog, so now I feel like I'm playing favorites, but PULEEEEASE, everyone knows moms don't have favorites. Now I have to get busy and dig up old pics of my other kids....feeling guilty:)

Look at my sweet babes!

Looks like Hudson had a little jealousy and Libby is just like "can we go now"

Oh my gosh, no one will ever know how much work and mothering this child does. She is like Ben's second mom. Wait she is everyone's second mom, including me and Sean! Sometimes she treats Ben like he's 3 months instead of 3 years and you can see he sucks it all in

This is at one of Hud's football games.(before the haircut obviously, ugh)
I can't remember if I've already posted some of these. But this is from a few months ago, when she had 4 teeth pulled out. The orthodontist wanted to make a little more space in that tiny mouth. She had to be put in a twilight sleep and was quite the silly drunk...

She and her best friend, Idalis had a "crystal light stand" and made $16. Pretty good for an hour's work.

Today, I will take cookies to her class. Then she is having a couple friends over for makeovers (mani's, pedi's and such:), then her dinner of choice is crab legs, twice baked potatoes, and Cesear salad with croutons! Her cake is strawberry with vanilla frosting and strawberries on top! She isn't specific or anything. QUEEN for a day!
Sweet Lainey girl, you are the one.
Who makes our lives so much fun.
Why are you growing so fast?
I want my baby girl days to last.
Always know, I love you so;
to the highest heights and the depths below.
Love- Mommy

Hud's 10th B-Day...

Easter 09
Spring 09 school photo

For Hudson's 10th birthday we went all out and put cupcakes on top of a cooler! Seriously folks, we're going for real hillbilly style here:)

Checking out the Axe cologne from Uncle Jon, who was explaining that this would draw the girls to him....whatever:)

He shared cupcakes with his class. His teacher does a really neat thing and has everyone sit in a circle on the floor and Hud sits in a chair. They go around the circle and give Hud compliments. It was so sweet! The little girl gazing at him across his desk was so cute and funny. She got really shy and said " there is just so many things, I can put it into words!" I almost fell off my chair. I think she may have a small crush. Back away now girl, mama don't wanna fight a 10 year old. No, really I thought it was so sweet.

His actual birthday fell on a school night. So he got to pick what he wanted for dinner. Spaghetti was the choice. Out of everything he could choose from, he picked SPAGHETTI! What a nice boy to pick such an easy meal. Then on Sunday afternoon, he had some friends come to the skating rink for a couple of hours ( i still have the bruise to prove i skated and fell while racing Hudson. i think sometimes i forget i'm 33) and then had family and friends over for bbq. He had a great day.

You will always be the first for me.
I loved you at first sight you see.
To this day you are my baby boy.
And forever will remain my constant joy.

I love you Hudson Andy Perry,
Mom

Just In Time 4 Easter...

We decided to hatch little chicks again this year. We had a VERY bad hatch rate this time around. We started out with 12 and only had 3 hatch. I really don't think some of the eggs the lady gave me were even fertile. But I'm no chicken fertility expert either...:)
This is our first arrival "Chirp". He was stomping the other hatching eggs so I moved him from the incubator. They say to put a stuffed animal and a mirror in with them so they can stop stressing out from being lonely. oh geez...yes I actually did it. Here's chirp snuggled with Ben's teddy bear. Ben also tried to give him a pillow and blanket.

Nasty!

Ben just grabs these little suckers by the head and says "he's so cute".

Who cares about the chick. Check out the brown eyed chick-magnet.

This is Chirp, Bob and Mover. They are all chirping away and kept us up half of the night. They will be sleeping in the laundry room tonight.
I am now a mom of seven!

Ben...

We were traveling to San Diego on Ben's birthday, so when we got there, she had this cake for Ben. He loves cars, so this was perfect. He had to have all the cars on his plate. We had to re- light the candles a dozen times so that he could sing "happy burpday" to himself and blow out all the candles. No big bash for the Benjamin boy, but he didn't know any different. Earlier this week the kids kept reminding me that Ben didn't get to open any presents, so we had a #2 birthday this week and he got to open some presents. Whew....glad everyone is happy.

I just have to write this down before I forget...

I'm so mad at myself for not writing down all the funny things my kids say. I always say I will and never do. Ty made me laugh out loud tonight though and thought this was the perfect place to quickly record his silly self.

So he comes in from playing outside. He has literally been outside since school got out at 2:45 and it is now 7pm (except for a 30 minute dinner break). He gets so dirty! I have to get a picture of how dirty this child gets. He is like pig pen. Anyhow, I say "Ty go jump in the shower" (as I observe black smear marks on his face and filthy dark brown legs and hands). He says (in his most annoyed voice) Mom, can I just wash my hands and legs, because that's what's dirty?" I say, "no Ty, your whole body is dirty, go shower". He lifts up his shirt and says "no, look at my stomach, it's not dirty".

Maybe it was a "you had to be there moment", but he was just as serious as he could be.

I love you Ty....
By the way, that is not his dirty pic, that is his no teeth pic!

Birthday Boy...

Happy Birthday to my 3 year old baby boy! I love you buddy. I have asked you all day "who has a birthday today?" and you say "it's Ben's Burpday". We had fun watching you blow out your birthday candles 15 times while singing the Happy Burpday song to yourself. I can't wait to go find some crabs in the tide pools tomorrow with you. I love you.

Blogger won't let me add pics.

Lainey and Libby play Dress Up...

Tarzan and Jane in skirt from Hawaii:)
Lainey and Libby like to dress up the babies. On this night they came up with Lainey's Halloween costume from two years ago and Hudson's tuxedo from Uncle Jon's wedding with ribbon for his bow tie. oh my...
I'm so far behind on this blog it's really hard to continue. I was all amped up to get caught up tonight and then when I went through all my pictures....YIKES! So I just thought these two were cute along with the 14,000 others.
Recent happenings...nana turned 80
Lainey got 4 teeth pulled (for orthodontic reasons)
Ty lost 3 teeth
Hudson is doing awesome in football
Ben is a hilarious maniac!
Sean is beginning busy traveling season
I am mom of 4 :) nuff said!

Lainey Sings Like a Crazy person...

So Lainey has gotten really obnoxious, but funny, with her singing in the car. This is at night, so you can't see anything, but as she sings, Ty starts singing too and she tells him to be quiet, but doesn't skip a beat with the singing. The crazy, belly laugh that comes out of me after she says it, is a little embarrassing.

Finally and Update and It's not even MY OWN KIDS...

I had my niece over today to try on some of my creations that will be in the boutique. She is such a little "picture perfect" angel. I did some crazy effects on these photos that I kinda' like.

Also, our Tyger is doing fine after his latest broken bone. It's hard to keep him from not being such a maniac though. He has an orthopedic appointment on Tuesday just to check if everything is still in place.

Sedona...

These are a few pics of a day-trip we took to Sedona a few weeks ago. AAAH Sedona is a little piece of paradise in this absolutely freakin' way too HOT place we live. We just hung out at the creek, fished, snacked and picked wild blackberries, which later went over a hot shortbread biscuit. YUMMMM!

Lainey always taking care of Ben. I think she gets more nervous than I do that he'll fall in the river. Oh my, I'll have bad dreams just because I typed that. Yes, I'm a paranoid freakazoid...

Hudson putting on his football gear for the first time. He's in tackle this year. They have been practicing for 3 weeks with pads, but today was the first day with helmets, which meant the first day of hitting!!! Poor Hud, doesn't complain much, but it was a hundred degrees, full pads, helmet, hard warm-up for an hour, followed by tackling practice. He came over with pale white lips and said mommy I'm going to throw up. You know what's crazy about that. The coaches actually expect the kids to get sick!!! And oh no, we mommy's are NOT allowed to baby our boys, but actually they tell them to get back out there and throw up through the helmet if you have to. WHAT THE HECK!!! Seriously folks, this tackle football is some serious stuff, these parents DO NOT mess around. You would think we were in pro-football or something. OH MY! He has practices on Tues and Thursday's for 2 hours and then today (Saturday) he had a 2 hr. practice at 8:30am and then another one in a little bit at 5:30pm. Oh my gosh, I might have to walk away at this one. His first game is in 2 weeks. Some of the other moms warned that the new "rookie moms" might need a kleenex box at the first game when their boy gets knocked silly! (taking deep breath). Hudson plays QB. Yay Hud!

My Babies started school Wednesday...Now Ben & I are all alone...should I clap or cry?

I just tried to load a million photos and of course blogger will not let me!!!! So frustrating after I've picked all the pics and now have to start over. Ben is calling my name from his bed, so I will rescue him and try again later.
The kids are enjoying school. They are on their 3rd day. They love their teachers. Thank Goodness! I miss them, but it sure is nice not to have to shush them all day because of Sean being on important calls. They don't see their friends much over the summer, so I think they were ready to get back and see them. Pics soon!
