We decided to hatch little chicks again this year. We had a VERY bad hatch rate this time around. We started out with 12 and only had 3 hatch. I really don't think some of the eggs the lady gave me were even fertile. But I'm no chicken fertility expert either...:)

This is our first arrival "Chirp". He was stomping the other hatching eggs so I moved him from the incubator. They say to put a stuffed animal and a mirror in with them so they can stop stressing out from being lonely. oh geez...yes I actually did it. Here's chirp snuggled with Ben's teddy bear. Ben also tried to give him a pillow and blanket.

Nasty!

Ben just grabs these little suckers by the head and says "he's so cute".

Who cares about the chick. Check out the brown eyed chick-magnet.

This is Chirp, Bob and Mover. They are all chirping away and kept us up half of the night. They will be sleeping in the laundry room tonight.
I am now a mom of seven!
