Tackle Baseball & A Home Run...

So 5 year old T-Ball /Coach Pitch Baseball is like the funniest thing I've ever seen. The coach pitches 5 pitches and if they don't hit then they set up the "T" and the player bats from it. I'm proud to say that my boy Benjamin hit the ball on the first pitch his first time up to bat and the second pitch on the second time up. So proud, especially since during practice he would hit like 1 out of 55:) Anyway, when someone hits the ball the whole entire team literally runs to get the ball and sometimes end up in a dog pile! Hilarious. Must get this on video... Saturday was opening day and they had a little parade where each team walks onto the field with their banner. As you can see Ben was a little bit nervous about the whole situation....

And now he's happy...

This picture cracks me up. I mean he is serious about being on third base. He is literally standing, both feet, on the base. No leading off for this boy...

Daddy telling him to run to second base...

Tyger's team being silly during pictures. Notice Ty is the only one not flexing. I never realized how easily he gets embarrassed around kids his age.

Batter UP...

Short Stop....

Okay. Now. Have you ever gotten really super excited at one of your kid's games and only realized what a complete idiot you made of yourself after you've just watched your kid do something fantastic. Well, let's just say...I did that...here's the proof...no, you can't see me...but that is my little Tyer Ty rounding those bases...and the idiot mom you can not help but hear, is in fact my idiot self. Might want to lower your volume. What can I say? I was PROUD!

He had 2 RBI's and a home run. GO TY!

Baseball Season...

This is the first year any of our boys have played baseball. Opening day is this Saturday. So fun to watch. Ty learning the proper technique for grounding... Ben learning the proper technique for waiting for his turn to bat:)

WOW- I could just eat this boy up...so cute if I do say so...

At Oregano's AGAIN...Sean was a little burnt from NM trip.
Silly girls...Libby and Lainey
Ben showing me how top skip...

Long Time NO Post....

For the kids Spring Break in March we went to my mom and Ernie's cabin in Ruidoso, NM. They have a little cabin on the Nazarene campgrounds where they allow pastors to stay for free in the Ron Sands Memorial cabin. This picture was taken as we were headed back home...
Niece Libery Brooke...
Here is the fountain area where you can get memorial bricks. This is obviously one for my dad...

Ben had his 5th birthday while we were there on St. Patty's Day. I told the kids to pretend like we were in the old days and try to make him something. The girls made cards...this one is from Lainey...so sweet...She also spent her own money and got him a couple of hot wheels...Hugs for Grams and Gramps for the super cool Hot Wheels car wash!

This card is from Liberty... she also spent her own money and got him a stuffed leprechaun and some play dough. Thanks Libby...
The boys worked for two days whittling sticks for arrows and making a bow. They were so excited... they did a really good job. It worked! Here is Colt showing him how to use it. They also gave him a dollar each. Love it...

For his birthday we also went sledding and chowed on some super delicious greasy burgers and fries...mmmm

Check out Hud's feet. They're not touching the ground:)

Gave him his new bike before we left for New Mexico.

Hudson recently made the school volleyball team.

Ben and Ty are both in baseball.

Lain finally got her braces off.

Sean got braces on.

And I've been doing a little of this and that.

Disneyland October 2010...

Can't wait to do this trip again next year! We will definitely skip California Adventure and just do 2 days at Disney. It's so much fun that all the kids are old enough and no one has to wait with Ben because he isn't tall enough. We all went on everything together and had a blast. We woke up to a drizzly, cloudy day and about 65 degrees. ooooh freezing for these Az bones. The weather cleared up though by about 10am and the cool weather was perfect for standing in long lines. Night before...on our way to dinner...
Hotel lobby on our way out to the Magic Kingdom.

Thunder Mountain Railroad. I swear Sean is like a 5 year old on roller coasters. Hilarious! This was Ben's first ride, so he was unsure, but after this he held his hands up the whole time. So cute...

Ty can NEVER just pose for a normal picture. Rotten child...

Don't judge, I said it was drizzling= no make up and really ugly hair:)

This was so cute. Ben was waiting to say Hi to Goofy and Goofy was trying to get out of the crowd and go through those gates. Well Ben happened to be the last one, so he got to spend like 5 minutes helping Goofy try to open the gate. I have like 3 jillion pics of this scene, so I'll just pick a few:)

Knuckles...

See Ben?

I know and over abundance of "Ben" pictures, but he is the one who is so stunned to see these guys in person! Have you ever had one of those moments that your kid is so excited you just want to burst into tears of happiness? Maybe not, I am a giant cry baby. But anyway, the moment with Goofy was one of those moments. Glad for my sunglasses, cuz I had watery eyes at the happiest place on earth.

Parade on Main St.
and my camera ran out of battery by 1pm. I'm smart like that.
