Diamondbacks vs Phillies...

We had a fun time at the Dbacks game the other night. Lain was at a friend's house, so it was kind of a boy's night out with me as a tag-a-long.

On our way to the game and posing in front of the Sun's ball. That makes sense.

Me and my boys

Me and ALL my boys

Here we just walked in and this is when they start asking, "mom, can we have a drink, mom, can we have cotton candy, mom can we have a hot dog". Even though they got a burger on our way to the game. I think I broke down in about the 3rd inning. Ben did not get the whole thing. He thought we were going to PLAY baseball, not watch. So he was whining for 3 straight innings, "mommy, when do we get to get down there and play". Seriously my nerves=SHOT! Then it dawned on me, PEANUTS! Hello, this could keep him busy for like 3 hours! and it did.

Seriously, look at the concentration going on trying to get this peanut out.

What an ornery little boy.
Mischief written all over that face.
Had a great time with my boys. Instead of spending lots of money for dback shirts, obviously they got homeade ones. $9 total for all the shirts and my cricut and fabric paint did the rest. Yes, still loving my cricut:)

Catching Up On Birthday Posts....

I left these at home when we went to the Laser Tag place for Hud's Bday...yeah that's how I roll....forgetful...
My Sweet 11 year old. Almost 6th grade! WHAT? He says he's preteen. Um, no, I don't think so Vern.

We had the cupcakes after Laser Tag. Yeah, I know, real nice set up there. With them still in the pan and everything. You could say I'm not a huge bday celebration person. I mean I like to celebrate their special day and everything. It's just that I don't go ALL OUT. My extended family just knows to keep the few days surrounding any of our birthday's open, because I'll call like the day before and ask them to come over. They love me for that.
The Laser Tag crew minus me, behind the camera. This is a MUST DO thing! Fun for the whole family. If you have never been, you should. fun fun fun...

Opening a card from his buddy, Seamus.

You can tell he really likes this.

She's a poser for sure.

He opened his gift after school. WWE2010 for Wii. He plays it ALL THE TIME.
Ben put together a present for Hud while the kids were at school. He colored a little brown bag and put some books in it from our bookshelf that we've had for like 10 years. Hudson was so sweet. He oooooohed and aaaaaaahed and told Ben he was going to read them that night. Ben was so happy. I almost cried. Now that is a loving brother, who pretends to love something just to make the other happy. Thanks Hud.
Now I have to brag on him some more. He had a REALLY bad bout with his eczema about 4 weeks ago. The dr. actually was on the verge of admitting him to the hospital and he missed an entire week of school. We went to see a pediatric dermatologists (the same one that Ty is seeing for his skin disorder. We're all about skin problems in this family). Anyway, this guy is amazing. Of course, I was in tears. Hudson could hardly even walk. I had to rush him to urgent care the day before to get several shots, because he was so bad and shaking severely. The dr. said he was so torn up, that his body wasn't holding in heat. Well, I just felt like a piece of crap. We've just been following our pediatrician's treatment plan and it looked like I had not taken care of Hudson in like a year, but really he can get a break out like this in just a couple days. So the dr. told us to give up the guilt, because we have never been given proper treatment for Hud and that he wished I had been referred years earlier. He also said that with the tools he gives us that Hudson should NEVER have breakout that is unmanageable again. WHEW! Hudson had an AMAZING recovery. I'm bragging on him, because this takes a ton of effort on his part. Can you imagine living with several creams and then vaseline to cover all of that lathered over your body night and day? No, neither can I. But he is really doing great and I am so proud of him. Our prayer is that one day he will "grow out of it". I love you Hud.

Ben's Bday March 17th....

We seem to always do Ben's bday half in AZ and half in San Diego. It falls in that Spring Break area. He was so tired right here, he could barely keep his eyes open. We had walked OB, played in the backyard, made cupcake ice cream cones, went to the beach before dark and played in the sand and water, came back and ate a quick dinner before he fell asleep. Busy Day!
My kids have a serious problem with decorating their faces with icing.

Thank you grama for my Sponge Bob dominoes, giant tub of bubble gum, slime and lots of other goodies...

Seriously folks! This is only a gift from my wildest dreams!

We had an impromptu bday party for him one day when Jonathan and Danielle came over. We were all riding our bikes and thought we should bust out his new bike a few days early. He has NOT gotten off of it since. We took off the training wheels and he does just fine, but wants them on because, well of course, it takes no effort....and he can ride in the house. Front door to back door, around the island, through our bedroom and back again. YES, allllll daaaaay loooooong...

I love this picture of him where he looks so excited. I love it because we had not planned a party. We just wanted to give him his present early. So I threw some cupcakes in the oven and Jaden and Lainey put the icing on. We pretended like it was his birthday (it was 2 days later, when we were in SD). They came out with a few cupcakes on a plate and this is his reaction. 4 year olds are so easy to please.
I said I wouldn't have any more kids after dad died, because they would never know him. I'm so glad we changed our minds. He is the sweetest, thumb-sucking, snuggly little boy I have ever known. I love you Benjamin Ronald. You are my sunshine:)

Been awhile...

Before and After of my brace face girl:) My pretty girl.
Before her appt.

Field day at school with her buddies, Idalis and Olivia.

Just coming out of the orthodontist, feeling a little tired and sore.
She had quite the speech impediment for a few days while getting use to this giant appliance on the roof of her mouth.
I get overwhelmed when I haven't posted in a long time. I just don't even know where to start. I feel like there's too much catch up. Anyway, I realized I hadn't posted pics of my little brace face girl. I've missed Ben's Bday, Spring Break and the list goes on...So lots to post. It wasn't blogger problem, it was my computer. I feel so lost...I had to do a whole system recovery, back to factory settings. I forgot to save all "my favorites". Ugh...it's painful:)
