Takin' a Walk...

Never mind the 15 foot drop on the other side of the rocks they're skipping over. I mean I'm not really worried about them falling into the water. They can swim, but the giant boulders they might bust their head against on the way down might put a damper in our little walk.
This is Ty's stunned face after I told him get off the wall. Really! Am I the only one who would be a little freaked out to come around the corner to see your kid sitting on the wall that is like 3 STORIES HIGH! UGH... Seriously this child is determined to break every bone in his body. You know your child has a high pain tolerance when last time we went to the doctor he had to get a biopsy and they didn't wait until he was completely numb before they took a giant gouge out of his little foot and he just says "that hurts", but no tears. He did get an upset tummy, so they gave him a sprite and animal crackers. Well this time when we went to the dr. he was disappointed that he wasn't getting another biospy because he wouldn't get another sprite and crackers. WHERE DID HE COME FROM? I mean seriously they give him a shot straight into his infection. You would think he never gets a snack. He's a funny one.

We have this great area for taking a walk and exploring where we live. I hardly ever take advantage of it. So, while Sean was out of town last week we had a little walk.
Have no idea...
Toothless here thought he was pretty funny pretending to hug Mr. Saguaro.
Um...I'm sitting on the couch, Ben comes out in this crazy ghetto fabulous outfit, does a couple spins on the floor, pounds his chest with his fist a couple times, holds up the peace sign and says "peace" WHAT!
Little miss Lainey put him up to this. Then later that evening we had to watch a whole dance routine that all of them put together with music. Very entertaining.

Friday Fun Day...

Well this wasn't Friday, but Thursday. This wasn't his first time for a cleaning, but it was too cute to pass up pictures. He loooooooves going to the dentist and he has been a flossing fool since.

At Ty's Valentine's Day class party. He was serious about this lollipop!

And apparently Ben was too. This picture is too good...
Not sure if I should be posting pics with permission, hence the googly faces.
Check out the other boy's hairdo. It said Cougars. I remember my mom doing that to my brothers.Hudson and Lain have been telling me that some of their projects are on display in the library and office. While I was at the school today I thought I would document this amazing accomplishment!:) This is a model of 3 different types of joints in our body, by Hudson.

And a sketch of his shoe...good job Hud.

and Lain's paper mache bowl.

You know your thirsty when....
YOU LEAVE THE WATER RUNNING INTO YOUR GLASS WHILE YOU DRINK!
This is how I caught Hudson drinking today. Funny boy

So When The Game Finally Started...

Lainey and I made our own playdough. Thought Ben might enjoy playing with it while the Super Bowl was on. He started feeling better by late afternoon. It was suppose to be purple. I'm thinking it's a little more on the grey side. We made a rainbow of colors today (Monday-not a one of my kids went to school due to barf). They are all feeling a ton better this afternoon. Lainey's idea was for us to have a "Cake Boss" playdough contest. That is over @ http://www.sewsewfun.blogspot.com/ We had much fun with that.
The hubby made an appearance at game time with a side of Diet DP, and bed head
Ty was out ...
Hudson was out. As you can see the Saints are his team, but the sickness conquered all.
Made a tent for Ben under a bench. While I went to make playdough, this is how I found him when it was done. AAAAAAH...
Lainey got sick after everyone started feeling better. As of today, I am the only one who didn't get it. Airborne saved my life!

Whooo Hoooo Super Bowl Sunday...or so I thought:(

Have enough food for a small army.
Mom and Ernie are staying with us.
Jonathan and family are coming over.
Nana coming over.

Suppose to be Fun day!

Sean wakes up at 5am... sick...

I hear a splat on the floor at 5:30am...

Ty makes it to the bathroom, but the toilet lid is shut so he throws up ON it instead (along with every surface in the bathroom.

He takes a bath...poor baby.

I sanatize, steam mop, etc. until 6am.

Sleep until I hear Ty again. Thankfully the trash can is nearby.
Everyone awake.
Ernie and I take an Airborne.
Have breakfast, except Sean and Ty, who still can't keep a sip of water down.
Ben paints a couple pictures and acts silly all morning.
Until...
Ben says "mommy, by tummy hurts". Thinking he's just copying Ty I say "okay Ben. If you need to throw up, you go to the toilet okay?" "okay mommy".
2 seconds later...
I'm carrying Ben to bathroom as he makes a trail from kitchen to bathroom. Yum!
I slip in his mess...don't fall though...good times.
Ben in bath.
Mom and Ernie and Lainey go to church.
I would leave if I could.
Hudson just told me he's sick.
Yes, yes indeed...these are good times.
Party Cancelled...

And I don't even like the stupid Super Bowl. I just like the party. Whaaaaaaa!

Another Salt River Fishing Day...

Tyger LOVES to fish!

Hudson and Ben...

Lainey's Red Neck tent-for-a-day.
Sean Fly Fishing.  He's so excited he just booked his 10 day Alaskan fishing trip.  He's counting down the days to July..

New Blog...SEW SEW FUN..

Well, I've actually had this set up for awhile, but just started posting to it recently.  It's really just a place to keep track of all the junk I make.  Much of time I end up giving stuff away before I take a picture.  I thought this new blog would help me look back at the stuff I make and forget about. Anyway, The Perry Scoop was gettting too much craft and not enough family. So the new link is over on the side if you're interested.

Lain's Room Getting There...

oops- picture in wrong order.
making pillow for her bed.
Blue Walls- gone! Carpet-Outta' here!
Sean Caulking the baseboard. Love this floor- we put it in our room too and the boy's room is next...

Ernie's old antique dresser. Love IT!!!

Lain wanted to mix some black in. I still need to do the headboard (thinking old french door?), cover lampshades, and put stuff on the walls. It's getting there.
