Grandma Fay, listen to what he says before he starts running...

Don't hate cuz you can't find these red undies that are 2 sizes too big...

Ah, the little tortured creature is....

Pedro!!! Yes, I know what you're thinking..."didn't you try this before?" Yes, we did. I just thought that Ben would love to have a little play partner when the kids went back to school. Also, we went with something a lot smaller. The choice was easy, considering Benjamin loves Uncle Rico ( Uncle Jim's dog).Do I still think this was a good idea, 4 weeks later? Ummmm, let me think for a minute....thinking.....thinking....YES! He is like having a newborn, yipping at all hours of the morning needing to go outside, following him around to make sure he doesn't do his duties on the floor and all that comes with this tiny little creature. But we love him and he's staying.

Please don't judge for the nasty rug that obviously needed vacuuming. I've relaxed on my 24 hours a day cleaning. So if you want come by, please give me at least 15 minutes to straighten up:)

Lainey will totallly die when she sees that I posted this picture with her bed head. But check out the 2 stooges putting their heads together. This picture cracks me up.

I do love the little Pedro too...Oh did I forget to tell you? I got the dog while Sean was in Alaska. Note to self, don't get an animal while the husband is gone. But if you do, please make sure to tell him over the phone so that he has some time to simmer down. Yes, noted.
Funny thing is, Sean is Pedro's favorite person and Sean loves him just as much. Maybe more! I mean seriously, it's like a love fest in our bed after the kids are all tucked in for the night. And I'm not talkin' 'bout me and Sean people! He and Pedro are all snuggles until the little Mexican (that's what Sean calls him.) gets put in his kennel for the night. If anyone reading this is offended that we call our dog little Mexican, please don't be. We looooove our little Mexican and he IS a chihuahua named Pedro after all!

So nana really loves Pedro. Sean and I are always trying to get her a dog, because we think it would really help with lonliness. Anyway, she is stubborn as a mule and will not have it, even though she is a dog lover and has raised and bred them her whole life. So on Sunday she was over for dinner and say's "why don't I take Pedro for a couple days so that you can get some rest" (she's talking about the 5am wake-up call from the mexican). I was thinking "great, it would be nice to sleep past 5." I said "sure gram if you want to take him over night or whatever that's fine". Let me tell you when I dropped him off at her house she was just so excited. I asked if she would like me to come get him in the morning and she quickly said, "no, I'll have him for a couple days". Sean went over this morning to fix her sprinkler (she called at 6:45am:) and said the dog was spoiled rotten. Instead of just putting him outside to do his business, she actually sits out with him until he's done in 9000 degree weather. She also asked if we wanted her to keep him for another day. AAAAh, grams loves Pedro. She let me know that if we decided to sell him that she would like to know first. Stubborn girl.

My studly Ty...

You know those people that just constantly brag on their children, well that's about to be me. This girl gets more beautiful everyday, if I do say so myself.

And on our way back through the office Benjamin got sent to the Principal's office:)
But I chewed out the principal and Ben got to come home with me:):)

Alaska...

So Sean, Jonathan and Ernie (mom's hubby) went on an Alaskan fishing trip. Ernie stayed for 6 days and the other two stayed for 11. This was Sean's dream trip. The bonus for the wives was that they each brought home 50 pounds of salmon. Mama loves me some salmon! This is a very common thing to see around there apparently.
During their fly-in...

I'm guessing Sean won that day:)

This was from the last couple days of their trip. I'm guessing they were all fished out. Jon and Sean hiked up to a glacier.
Glacier

Fresh Mountain Water...
150 lbs of fish. Sean and Ernie's box of fish came in with their luggage, still frozen. Jonathan's somehow did not make it on the plane. It went from Alaska to Philadelphia. It made it back to Phx the following evening, still cold. whew!
A day's catch... Salmon
They did a fly-in with a guide for a day... they flew over some glaciers and landed on a lake somewhere...this was a few days before the same kind of plane crashed in Alaska. Yikes...
Co-pilot Jonathan...
The guide grilled them up one of the salmon they caught right on the boat...
Sean looks like a mini person in this picture...

They stayed with some of Ernie's friends for a few days. The guy travels all over the world for hunting trips. These are all his animals. Crazy!

When they would finish fishing, they would bring their fish to this kid and he would fillet and pack and freeze them.

Glad you're home and that you've forgiven us for the small surprise we got while you were gone:)

I'm Baaaack...............

So the major drama that took over our entire summer and caused closure of the blog for awhile is officially OVER as of the last signed document yesterday! Can I get a Hallelujah? The family is doing great and school has been back in session for 2 1/2 weeks. The kids all love their teachers and can you believe I have a 6th grader. DYING! I feel like time is flying by and my little baby is almost a, dare I say, Pre Teen. NO! No No No. The other day I was walking with Hudson and he says "mom, does my hair look okay?" I look up and there are 3 pretty girls walking towards us! I'm like, "are you asking me this because there are pretty girls walking towards us?" He just smiles. Helllllooo, these chicks were like 17. Puleeeze! You think dad's carry a shot gun to protect their little girls. This mama is not going to do well when my boys start this crap. I'll be handing girls a questionaire to fill out and getting out my measuring tape to make sure their shorts are long enough and bustin' out my sewing machine with premeasured extra pieces of fabric to add some length to their shirts and making them take a vow right in front of me while I put a purity ring on their finger!!! Yeah, I think I might be crazy.

Anywho, I have so many pics from the last few months, who knows where to start. We took 2 trips to San Diego and Sean just got back from his Alaskan fishing trip (I'll post those pics next time). This is San Diego July

Libby was staying at mom's

If you go to San Diego on a regular basis and you don't go to Hodad's in Ocean Beach, you are missing out.

The aviator twins.
I think this was the night before Sean left for Alaska. We were at Oregano's. If you live in Phx and you haven't been to Oregano's and ordered the thin crust pizza with green olives, dipping each bite in medium wing sauce and Oregano's Original salad and finishing your whole meal off with the pazooki, you are also missing out.
Yeah, I'm all about the run on sentences in this post.
My boys

Ty and Kaden. We met up with Sean's brother and family before they moved to Texas. Have you seen Nanny McPhee? Great movie. We call Ty Nanny McPhee because of the single Ginormous tooth up top. Since this photo the other tooth has made an appearance.
Our niece Makenna. So pretty
Nice Nick. I think they should use this as your profile picture for your new job. Pool at the hotel we stayed for the night while at campmeeting. Check out Ben in mid air. Um that pool was only a foot deep. Guess he's ok.

My silly Hudson

This was while Libby was at our house this summer.

Benjamin loves Uncle Jim's dog, Uncle RICO! Poor dog, I think Ben tortured him to death.
Pictures of Ben torturing someone else coming soon!
