Too Many Hawaii pics...

I have finally gotten over my "Post Vacation Blues", as my sister-in-law Kandi puts it. We had such an awesome time in Kauai. We hopefully will be making this trip again next summer. I think Sean and I both wanted to cry and were a little depressed as we were locking up our bungalow. We were so amazed at the location of our place when we got there. It was absolutely the perfect place, footsteps from the beach out our front door! We actually could leave Ben sleeping while we were soaking up the sun. The kids had me on the beach every morning at 7am. It was so much fun, there is absolutely not one thing I could complain about. Everyone keeps saying, "it was relaxing with FOUR kids?" YES, it really was! We didn't have a care in the world, except deciding which amazing turquoise beach we would snorkel next. Well, I took approximately 1000 pics. Yep, you read that right. I will post in the days to follow more, and you will be absolutely bored with them by the end. Most pics look like the same day, but it's just because we wore our swimsuits 24 hours a day for 8 days. FUN!

THANK YOU SEAN, FOR GIVING US SUCH A WONDERFUL FAMILY VACATION. HAVE I TOLD YOU LATELY HOW WONDERFULLY BLESSED I AM TO BE ABLE TO STAY HOME WITH MY KIDS. THANK YOU FOR WORKING SO HARD FOR US, SO THAT I AM ABLE TO BE WITH MY FAMILY! I HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL, AMAZING, AWESOME, RELAXING TIME WITH YOU GUYS IN KAUAI. I COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE (except maybe 1 more baby...ha, ha just kidding). YOU ARE THE BEST AND I LOVE YOU!

Us getting on the plane. Sean got on with the other kids and Ben and I stayed out until the last minute. We dosed him up with Benadryl and he was out cold about 2 minutes after this pic was taken. He did really good. He was pretty much groggy for the entire flight except the last 30 minutes and then he was ready to get off!

We never heard a peep out of Tyger. He was so good. We packed all the kids backpacks with tons of snacks and crayons and paper and silly putty.........He had all his snacks gone in the first 30 minutes. too cute!

Benny's St. Patty's Day 1st Birthday Party...

First of all, these 5 little photos took 15 minutes to download or upload...whatever it's called. We brought Sean's old laptop and it is soooo slow. I was going to try and post more, but don't have the patience. We are having SOOOO much fun here in Kauai. I can't believe tomorrow is already Friday. All of us were trying to talk daddy into staying another week, but it didn't work. The weather is perfect, water delightful and family wonderful. I have only taken about 500 pics so far (literally). Today is my dear dad's birthday. I was going to post the poem I wrote for him on his 50th b-day, but that would mean that I would actually have to watch the video of his party so that I could write it down. Well, since I've pretty much had an emotional breakdown today, I don't think I will be watching that video...............maybe tomorrow.

Congratulations to my friends Amanda and Brian on the birth of their new 6lb 3oz, let me tell you, beautiful baby girl, Annalise Sophia.

12 DAYS.....

FAMILY FUN IN THE SNOW...

Sean has a friend named John, who is a ski instructor on the weekends up at Snowbowl. He offered to give the kids lessons this last Saturday. The kids didn't catch on too easily (not for lack of instruction... John is a good instructor and I have to admit, I was secretly taking in all that he was saying for MYSELF). Hudson did pretty good, but got going really fast and then fell and he was too scared to try any further. The slopes were pretty icy. UUUGH...I guess they take after their mommy. The first time I went was in High School with my brother and I never caught on the whole day. PATHETIC! Anyhow, Sean got some good skiing in with his buddy for awhile and the kids played in the snow. I went up with them a few times and then proceeded to face-plant in the mud at the bottom of the hill, which pretty much ended my day. It never fails that I ALWAYS embarrass myself, SOMEHOW!!! Why do I always leave somewhere with a STORY of making myself look stupid?@#$%^&* OH Well, my life of clumsy stupidity gives me lots of interesting stories to tell. Here are a few pics. I have more of us on the slopes that I took with another camera that need to be put on disk. I'll post them later...
